The Nadcap accreditation held by Magna Chek, Inc. has been re-approved for Aerospace/Defense material testing.  Magna Chek, Inc. had an October audit administered by the not-for-profitPerformance Review Institute.  “Having our Nadcap accreditation re-approved is such an honor.  Magna Chek, Inc. has worked hard to continually excel in non-destructive testing and quality inspections.  We plan to develop new techniques, procedures and specifications across multiple industries in the future.  Obtaining this re-accreditation will help us move forward.  The company looks forward to making new NDT advances in the future.” stated Scott Bucholz, Executive Vice President/General Manager of Magna Chek.

Magna Chek, Inc.’s inspection methodology encompasses a wide range of non-destructive material testing including magnetic particle inspection, radiography, ultrasonics, dye penetrant, eddy current and hardness testing.   

Magna Chek Inc. attended the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Fall Conference in Palm Springs, California from October 25 through October 27, 2011.  The conference covered a wide array of topics including seminars discussing the benefits of using nondestructive testing (NDT) methods and the exciting advancements within each discipline.  Magna Chek Inc. is attended the conference to remain up-to-date and educated on the latest NDT information and advances. “Our company takes pride in maintaining and improving upon our knowledge of nondestructive testing.  In order to remain one of the leading [NDT] facilities in Michigan, we have to stay on top of the latest advancements and technology related to the field,” stated Wally Lawrence, CEO/President of Magna Chek Inc.

Magna Chek is hosting two Engineers from Iraq as part of the Iraqi Engineer Enhancement Program (IEEP). The IEEP is a public-private partnership aimed to significantly further reconstruction efforts in Iraq. Supported by the U.S. Departments of Defense and State, the IEEP has selected five Iraqi engineers to participate in internships within universities and private sector engineering firms in the United States.

Magna Chek was asked to host two engineers with non-destructive testing experience. Upon their return to Iraq this summer, these engineers will be part of a team responsible to set up a new NDT facility in their country. Magna Chek is proud to assist with this outreach program.

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 -- Magna Chek Inc has been selected for the 2009 Best of Warren Award in the Metallurgical Testing Laboratory category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.
